St Luke's Coopernook Anglican Church
6 West Street
Coopernook NSW 2426
St Luke's Coopernook is a remarkable survivor. Originally the Parish Church for the area it is constructed of local timbers supported by the large major uprights, most of which were replaced C1990 when some major restoration work was undertaken to resolve the lean that the building had developed.
It is only one of a few surviving Churches which we built using the 'drop slab' method of construction, which was more normally used for domestic architecture in the pre federation period.
